Wolds Bike Park is situated within Hainton estate which is located in the heart of the Lincolnshire wolds. The estate has been in the Heneage family for nearly 1000 years.
Wolds bike park will be a 100 acre site which will cater for all off road cycling from age 2 on a balance bike with the aim of progression for people to enhance their riding ability.
At the bike park there will be a cafe, bike shop, classroom/confrence room, pump track, balance bike area, skills area, cross-country/cyclo-cross track and various graded trails from blue grade to black
The People
Kevin Smith has served time in the Army as an infantry soldier. Kevin qualified as a mountain bike coach in 2011 whilst serving on a UN tour in Cyprus. 2017 Kevin set up Focus Rides mountain bike coaching in Lincolnshire to promote the sport and getting people more active enjoying the open space. Kevin says “it is my dream to open the first bike park in Lincolnshire. It is a much needed facility in the county,. This will firmly put Lincolnshire on the cycling map creating more rural tourism and jobs. It also gives riders of all abilities and backgrounds a safe place to ride ”.
